Dovetail Studios is a family-centric dance/fitness facility that provides great instruction for those wanting to pursue dance seriously and to those who enjoy it as a recreational hobby.
Three studio spaces provide classes for children, adults and professional dancers. Dovetail offers class in a variety of dance styles, group fitness with a dance influence and kids camps.
Studio rental available for children’s birthday parties and space rental for professional dance companies.

Dovetail offers classes offers a Mini's Program, Youth Program, Adult Program and Professional Level Program and Group Fitness Program. We offer a variety of dance styles from ballet to street. We also offer some unique programming:
Express Yourself: Join us for a creative movement class designed specifically for students with developmental and cognitive differences. These fun, educational classes will promote confidence, positive social interactions, collaboration, and creative expression!
Roll with it Baby is an infant and parent course. Tummy time, massage, auditory, and visual stimulation are presented in a gentle and supportive way through song, music, exercises, and play. The purpose of this class is to introduce the child to the physical world, provide stimulation and encourage development of the spinal muscles and developmental patterns. It is an excellent way for parent and child to bond and a means to meet other new moms. The activities support healthy growth, digestion, and sleep.
Day Dance is a program geared to kids who are home schooled. This two hour, weekly class will cover various styles of dance- from ballet to street, teach choreographic skills and dance history. The session will conclude with an informal performance.
There is free parking on Mozart Street and California Avenue and metered parking on Montrose. Parking is also available on Francisco, north of Montrose.
The Francisco Brown Line is a 10 minute walk to the studio.
