Modern Classics Furniture is committed to accurate reproductions of the the original furniture designs of the Bauhaus Modern (1917 to 1933), L'Espirit Nouveau Modern (1920 to 1940), Scandinavian Modern (1930 to 1970) and Mid Century Modern (1940 to 1960), furniture best known as Modern Classics. Our replicas of these furniture designs are made to the same design and detail as the originals, made even better by our use of today's materials. Each of our Modern Classic furniture pieces is made by hand and we go to great lengths to ensure that we adhere to the close design specifications of the original designs. In addition, compared to other furniture found all over the internet, the materials we use are superior: #304 stainless steel, hand polished to a high luster (we do not use mild steel that has been chrome-plated); top-grain leather imported from Italy; foam from USA supplier; fabric from a North America mill. We inspect, box and ship each piece here in the USA by people who care.
