Paula Sousa
Class: Advanced Contemporary – Improvisation and Composition

This class explores creativity, presence, and space, and opens to the dancers the infinite possibilities that can arise in creation. Through individual, partnering, and group exercises, the dancers are encouraged to explore different ways of moving, dynamics, space, and composition. Tools will be given to them so they can play and discover their own paths of creating, while also being available for different artistic processes that will come during their careers. It’s an opportunity that provides space for risk taking, questioning, and mostly, for discovery.

Paula Sousa will also be teaching Advanced Contemporary – Floor Balance on Friday, April 21 from 9:30am - 11:00am.
