Red Clay Dance Company is excited to request applications for our CEEP Program Manager position. Under the guidance of the Director of Education & Community Partnerships the CEEP Program Manager maintains the quality of Red Clay Dance Company’s community-based education and engagement programs and expands their impact in Chicago.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management
• Oversees the development, coordination, and implementation of all CEEP programs.
• Works with the Director of Education & Community Partnership to ensure the teaching model and curriculum remain relevant, current, and support the impact and artistic goals of the organization.
• Maintains focus on the achievement of key program outcomes and impact goals including measures for participant performance, retention, and those evaluation efforts are on-track for desired metrics.

Staff Management
● Supports the Director of Education & Community Partnership in the recruitment and onboarding of Teaching Artivists.
● Directly supervises and evaluates Teaching Artivists.
● Observes, evaluates, and coaches Teaching Artivists according to the responsibilities outlined in their Job Description and reports level of role alignment to the Director of Education & Community Partnerships.
● Supports, builds, and trains Teaching Artivists on best practices for positive participant outcomes.
● Creates training materials and opportunities for Teaching Artivist around dance education best practices to increase positive student outcomes in alignment with the Red Clay Dance Company curriculum.
● Collaborates with the School of Dance Manager to design and manage professional development opportunities for Education Department Teaching Staff. 
● Provides specific guidance to Teaching Artivists in the area of professional responsibilities, prioritization, and time and resource allocation.
● This role may also include other duties as assigned.

Brand Excellence
● Works collaboratively with the Director of Education & Community Partnerships to ensure the quality and content of all CEEP programs and performances align with the organization’s artistic vision.
● Provide key information for program evaluation to the Director of Education & Community Partnerships to determine program quality and alignment with mission and impact goals.
● Manage student assessment data collection and entry processes for all CEEP Programs ensuring all data is available in the organizations data management system.
● Communicates with partner schools and organizations regarding program goals and objectives to ensure program quality and impact.
● Supports the Director of Education & Community Partnerships and the Marketing Department in the implementation of program marketing and storytelling strategies, including producing content for social media marketing, and other projects as assigned.

Program Growth & Sustainability
• Cultivates the growth and development of new school, and community program partnerships.
• Manages CEEP Residency & Workshop partner cultivation process including the planning, execution, or participation in new partner recruitment engagements and events.
• Manage the Making the Artivist apprentice recruitment process including the planning and execution of new apprentice recruitment engagements and events.
• Manage student retention systems to support successful completion of the Making The Artivist program.
• Track and Report status of Making The Artivist enrollment to Director of Education & Community Partnerships

Budget and Fundraising
• Tracks and reports program expenditures to the Director of Education & Community Partnerships highlighting alignment issues that impact program goals based on program budget.

Discretion
The CEEP Program Manager has a mid-level range of discretion and independent decision-making.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The CEEP Program Manager provides supervision of the Teaching Artivists as it relates to their contract responsibilities within the CEEP Program. Provides recommendations and insights to Director of Education & Community Partnerships in the hiring, firing and evaluation of Teaching Artivists.

Relationships
The CEEP Program Manager works closely with the Director of Education & Community Partnerships, School of Dance Manager, school and community partners.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required with experience in arts program management. Prior supervisory experience a plus.

Compensation:
Salary: $40,000-$43,000/yr., excellent benefits package including health, vision, dental, paid time off, employee discounts.
