Managing Director

Red Clay Dance Company (RCDC) is excited to request appllications for a new Managing Director. This position reports to and works in partnership with the Artistic Director/CEO to provide leadership and nurture the artists, staff and board towards exemplifying the organization’s mission, vision, and core values. Within this partnership, the Managing Director is responsible for executing the Artistic Director’s artistic vision into initiatives that excite our staff, artists, and community.The Managing Director will be responsible for providing oversight and management of the organization’s day-to-day operations, implementing the strategic plan, and working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO and Board of Directors to ensure fiscal health. RCDC recently launched a 3-year strategic plan to increase our organizational capacity and brand excellence. This plan includes building a state-of-the-art facility for the organization and scaling or programming for national and international reach. We seek a leader with demonstrated management skills who is innovative, efficient, and collaborative. Our ideal candidate will be self-directed, detail-focused, and eager to establish close working relationships that support an equitable and anti-racist organizational culture
