Part Time Marketing Manager Dance Presenting Series

Reporting to the Director, the Part-time Marketing Manager will design and implement marketing plans, coordinate assets, and develop press relationships necessary for the successful promotion of the Dance Department’s Dance Presenting Series. The incumbent will coordinate marketing, public relations, and social media functions, communicating with relevant external and internal stakeholders as necessary to extend the reach and profile of the program.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design and implement marketing plan for the season.
  • Coordinate development and production of marketing assets—such as season brochure, postcards and programs—gathering materials from participating companies and working in conjunction with the campus Design Group.
  • Solicit program ads.
  • Develop blog content in coordination with DPS Director and oversee blog maintenance.
  • Plan and manage yearly subscription campaign, including renewals and new members.
  • Design, manage, summarize, and report on audience surveys.
  • Monitor and create content for DPS social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Collect and analyze data on social media, ticket sales, and marketing results.
  • Design and distribute e-blasts.
  • Participate in marketing and production meetings.
  • Assist with creation of other collateral materials as necessary—such as for individual donor or corporate sponsorship campaigns.
  • Develop press releases for season activities.
  • Assist with website maintenance.
  • Communicate with Box Office Manager to create discount codes and pull data as necessary.
  • Update relevant calendar listings online.
  • Review, update, and maintain media contact list.
  • Coordinate with other communications departments on campus, maintaining compliance with college-wide marketing efforts.
  • Generate final reports with press coverage after each engagement.
Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • Two years minimum professional experience in marketing and press relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
