Programming Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Programming Administration and in conjunction with the Chief Programming Officer, the PC is a key role in the Programming Office, with a focus in both the presented and rental performances at the Auditorium Theatre. The Programming Coordinator’s (PC) principle areas of responsibility are managing initial client inquiries regarding rental bookings and private event sales of the Auditorium Theatre and the Katten/Landau Studio. Additionally, the PC will oversee company management for Auditorium Theatre’s presented performances including artist hospitality, contract management, and on-site organization.

The PC is a key part of the Programming team ensuring the first-class execution of events at the Auditorium Theatre by focusing on client communication and internal coordination.

Other duties as assigned.

3 to 4 years of experience is required.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Creative problem solver
  • Highly computer literate
  • Superb communication skills – both writing and verbal.

Solid organizational skills, multi-task and the ability to work in a team environment.
