Event Description
Dance in the Parks celebrates its 11th summer season of bringing FREE professional dance concerts to Chicago's neighborhood parks with a 14-performance season running July 9-27.
In partnership with Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks initiative, the performances feature contemporary and modern dance works created and performed by professional Chicago artists including choreographers Paige Caldarella, Joshua Blake Carter, Paige Fraser, Becca Lemme, Craig V. Miller, Ela Olarte, Todd Rhoades, and Jessica Miller Tomlinson. Dancers Stephanie Cihlar, Marco Clemente, Katy Fedrigon, Irina Goldman, Jesse Hoisington, Craig V. Miller, Natalie Tursi, and apprentices Sydney Foley and Abby Morris have worked with Chicago companies including Inaside Chicago Dance, Chicago Repertory Ballet, Nomi Dance Company, Visceral Dance Chicago, and Level Dance among others.
