Event Description
We are looking for male and female dancers for our 2016-2017 season, both company members and apprentices!
When: Sunday, Sept 18, 1-3pm
Where: American Rhythm Center, Studio B
Audition Fee: $5
Please also bring a headshot and resume.
Dancers must be available every week during these days/times for rehearsal and company class -
Tuesdays: 4:30-6pm
Fridays: 3-5:30pm (class from 3-4:15pm)
Important dates:
Oct 14 & 21 - Full Circle Festival
Oct 20 - Simantikos Fundraiser
Weekend of Oct 28 (Specific day/time TBD) - Split-bill show with visiting New York company
Feb 11 - SDC's Celebration of Chicago Art
May 5-7 - Show in Iowa
June 9-11(Dates still tentative) - Spring performance in Chicago
Apprentices do not necessarily need to be available for all dates. Those interested in taking a cheap workshop but not auditioning for the company are also welcome!
