Event Description
The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events presents the world premiere of "blue fish" by Ayako Kato/Art Union Humanscape on April 21 & 22, 2017 at Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Millennium Park as part of Chicago Dance Month. The movement dialogue between human and fish traces the eroded, yet inseparable relationship between human and nature, and gazes into their antagonistic values and common principles of being to find equiliburium. The projected image of Iwaishima and Fukushima, Japan, will engage audience to transform their perception of nature’s impact on humans and humans’ impact on environment.
