The Studebaker Ballroom Broadway Show is back for round two.
Last year's show was a real hit for Windy City Wedding Dance. Jessica Mays, owner of the ballroom dance studio, partnered up with World Champion Ballroom Dancer, Tommye Giacchino. Tommye a Chicago native, travels the US to train top ballroom dance professionals. Jessica and Tommye will be bringing in students from all over the midwest to perform. This years event takes place on October 23rd at 3:00pm. Students have been preparing for months and will be attending an exciting tech rehearsal on October 22nd in the Studebaker Theater to prepare for their big show day.
The Studebaker Theater has hosted some big talent in 2016 including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra featuring Riccardo Muti. The event was a fundraiser that took place back in June. The Studebaker Theater was a sell out for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The Chicago Ballet has now hosted a few events and the Chicago Opera Theater will be performing in the theater starting this November. Its a very exciting time for Fine Arts Building owner Bob Berger and Manager Blake Biggerstaff. The powerful duo have been smart about the theater restoration. After all its Michigan Ave, if you build it they will come.

Most ballroom dance studios have no shortage of women walking in the door looking to take dance lessons. Most female dance instructors end up sitting on the sidelines, while the gentlemen get to teach all the students. That's where Windy City Wedding Dance is different. Windy City Wedding Dance is located on the 2nd floor of the Fine Arts Building at 410 S Michigan Avenue. Another great partnership was formed in Naperville with Dance Studio Owner, Jaana Lilliemagi. My Dance Hub is second home to Windy City Wedding Dance. The studio is located on the boarder of Aurora and Naperville. Jaana oversees the operation in the Naperville Aurora location ensuring excellence in customer service.
