Deeply Rooted Dance Theater's Summer Intensive performance highlights the exciting work of our youth and pre-professional dancers. The performance is a reflection of a rigorous four week process filled with classes in various techniques,conversations of artistic exploration and choreographic workshops lead by Deeply Rooted's Artistic staff and dancers. The evening also includes Deeply Rooted's Emerging Choreographer Showcase which features works by national and international choreographers entering the choreographic field the dance .
The Emerging Choreographers Showcase mission is to empower & facilitate an environment of growth & exploration for young professional dancers and choreographers. This year's showcase will feature works created by Christen Ashley Williams, Elysia Banks and Artistic/Producing Director, Joshua L Ishmon.
