Glimpses From Spring, Moving Into Fall: Images from May’s “To MOVE”

As we move into our fall’s upcoming “Crossover” event at Hyde Park Art Center, this Monday, September 16th, here are glimpses from the culminating spring Moving Dialog To MOVE” at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. On May 6th, within the intimate studio, participants moved with each other, and through intriguing conversations on body, ability and hierarchy in dance. Liz Lerman guided us with grace and wisdom.  Core participants including Sherry ZunkerAlana WallaceMelissa L. Sallée and Annie Rudnik, shared their insights into the multifaceted ways we can move and be moved; with pre and post reflections on this event by noted arts critic Sid Smith!
