Good Gyrrl is a boutique lifestyle and fitness company that specializes in promoting self-confidence, sensuality, health and wellness within a supportive environment. Not your usual Girlfriend brand and far better than a gym, Good Gyrrl encourages women to embrace mental, physical, and emotional health and wellness as a lifestyle rather than a luxury. Our fitness classes, socials, and specialty workshops are fun, non-threatening, non-intimidating and informative social experiences that produce lifelong bonds, camaraderie, the rewarding feeling of empowerment. Our curriculum and events not only teach women to dig deep in order to release their inner vixens, but also encourage them to embrace the power of self-expression and carry that confidence from the boardroom to the bedroom!

Dance Classes

This is a snapshot of some of the classes that we offer:

Chicago-Style Steppin This 6-week class will teach you the basic fundamentals of Chicago-style Steppin', an improvisational ballroom form of dancing with origins in swing dance and bop. Steps revolve around an eight-count beat to the sounds of R&B, Jazz, Soul, Neo-Soul or Rap Music. Coed. No partners required.

Hoop-tastic Hula Hoop: Starting with strengthening your core and working your way to leaner muscles all throughout your body. Hooping is becoming one of the most enjoyable and fun ways to get in shape, as well as wow your gyrrlfriends with things they never thought possible with a hula hoop. This class
will start with the fundamentals of waist hooping and expand to performance worthy tricks, all while teaching hoop terminology! Prerequisite: none (4 weeks)

PT 1 (Pole Training Level One - Beginner): Enter into the exciting world of pole fitness. In this level one class, you
will learn the very basics in pole techniques and use joints and muscles that you've never used before! Each class starts with a fiery warm up, stretching, 2 pole tricks and ends with a sexy cool down. Prerequisite: none (4 weeks)

Co-ed PT 1 (Pole Training Level One): Enter into the exciting world of pole fitness. In this level one class, you will learn the very basics in pole techniques and use joints and muscles that you've never used before! Each class starts with a fiery warm up, stretching, 2 pole tricks and ends with a sexy cool down. Prerequisite: none (4 weeks)

PT 2 (Pole Training Level Two - Intermediate): This level two class is a continuation of level one and will teach you additional transitions and spins. This course will also help prepare you for levels three through five. Each class starts with a fiery warm up, stretching, 2 pole tricks and ends with a sexy cool down. Prerequisite: PT1 (4 weeks); co-ed

Pole TNT (Tricks and Transitions): For all levels. Learn sensual pole, floorwork, pole tricks and pole transitions. Prerequisite: PT1 (75 minutes; 4 weeks) 

ReggaeTone: Move your body and wind it! Get wild, feel sexy, burn calories! Learn the zagazow, butterfly and a wide variety of reggae dancehall moves and terminology as seen in clubs and videos. Improve your stamina, build muscle endurance, increase flexibility and improve your co-ordination all while having fun dancing! Prerequisite: none (4 weeks)

FlexXx Appeal (Stretching): Created for pole fitness students, but anyone is welcome. Relieve stress, and muscle tension, while gaining upper body strength, challenging your muscles, and improving your flexibility. This class provides a combination of dancer?s stretching and floorwork to create an awesome full body workout. You will start out with a warm up,then stretches to tighten your core, lengthen and tone
your muscles and a cooldown.  All levels are welcome! Prerequisite: NONE  *Beginner to Advance pole students are welcome to stay and practice for an additional 30 minutes of open pole.
