Rephrase Dance Collective is a performance dance company based in Chicago that is committed to making modern dance more accessible to the public. The Company will expand beyond the traditional boundaries of the dance world to introduce dance works in different public venues throughout the Chicago area.
Rephrase seeks to combine the artistic sensibility of the past with the innovations of the future in order to create a unique voice of the present. As our motto states: Rephrase Dance Collective—rewriting the past in order to rework the present.
