Clover: Summer Series 2015

Event Type
Performance
Event Description

Clover is a family-friendly performance of idea sharing and contemporary dance collaboratively choreographed and created by Benjamin Holliday Wardell, Michel Rodriguez Cinta, and Melinda Jean Myers, with Myers holding the position of principle choreographer. The performance puts contemporary dance into a conversational environment, allowing for an intimate experience and interaction between the audience and performers. Clover dives deep into individual life expressions, complex and lighthearted relationship explorations and even finds comfort in the occasional discomfort between deeply known friends. This journey of three unique individuals at a similar stage of life provides an in-depth look at intimate relationships and friendships between close confidants.

Clover is partially supported by an Individual Artist Program Grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events, as well as a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency through federal funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
