Event Description

Join us for the LEAP Program's first ever Alumni Panel and hear from LEAP graduates Nicole Haskins, Kalen Sakima, Ashley Jackson, and Jesse Marks!

LEAP (Liberal Education for Arts Professionals) is a one-of-a-kind Bachelor’s Degree program specifically for professional dancers offering an alternative to traditional 4-year universities! After at least 2 years in the field, students can earn college credit for their dance career. This allows students to finish their degree in 3-4 years of part-time study (just one class per week!), with no need to put their career on hold.

Students focus on fulfilling their Liberal Arts degree requirements through our fully-remote Zoom courses, working live with professors and colleagues across the country. By taking classes part-time and fulfilling a portion of the degree through dance experience, our students also save on overall tuition costs. Additionally, small class sizes with like-minded peers and focused instruction allow the Liberal Arts curriculum to be tailored to the adult learner and artist.

A program of Saint Mary’s College of California, LEAP also provides options for financial aid, individual academic counseling, online tutoring, and a Bachelor's Degree from the prestigious, internationally recognized university.
