Here’s what’s in store:

  • Dive into 6 progressive workshops (3 each day) specially curated to give you an accelerated curriculum of animation
  • Expand your knowledge with a comprehensive dive into various animation styles including the robot, classic Dynorama characters, and the up-and-coming N.P.C. (Non-Player Character) style
  • Learn from world class animators including our very own Jinx and Prototype, as well as special guests such as Chicago’s legendary OG Tea-Buggz, Cincinnati’s Millennium Robot and renowned street performing artist, Eclypse, and Los Angeles’ N.P.C. pioneer and viral dance content creator, Dr. Robotmik
  • Challenge yourself with workshops designed to enhance both your technique and creative process

Schedule:

Day 1 - Saturday, February 17

8:50 - 9:50 PM | N.P.C. by Dr. Robotmik (Beginner)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

These workshops are designed to be progressive, meaning they will build on each other and incrementally increase in difficulty. Day 1 will start with beginner-friendly lessons to hone your foundation and technique and Day 2 will end with advanced concepts to test the limits of your creative skills and application. If you are new to animation, we still strongly encourage you to take all workshops. They may be challenging, but will give you a roadmap for how you can progress your dance over time with practice and consistency and give you a more well rounded perspective of animation as a style. Getting all these specialists and guest teachers together in Chicago is a rare opportunity so take advantage while you have the chance!
