Pay Rate: $20 p/h
Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 4-8 PM and Saturday (8:30-2 PM approx.) Summer hours are also available.
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Maywood Fine Arts (MFA) is a Non-Profit Organization located in Maywood, IL whose mission is to provide quality and affordable arts and fitness education to the children and families of Maywood and surrounding communities. We currently see approximately 500 children each week who take courses in dance, tumbling, karate, music, drama, and the visual arts.
THE POSITION
We are seeking an energetic, joyful, and passionate Assistant Tumbling Coach for our Tumbling program. If you have tumbling, gymnastics, acrobatic, cheer, or coaching experience and can work with children ages 5-17, please send us your resume.
This is a growing program with potential for advancement for highly qualified, motivated candidates.
Responsibilities Include:
· Maintaining a high energy (throughout the class)
· Being properly dressed
· Correcting skills during the rotation
· Spacing children appropriately
· Setting up and putting away equipment efficiently and smoothly
· Spotting appropriately
· Checking in with Head Coach to review class game plan
· Echoing Head Coach directions
· Remaining patient but able to discipline children, when necessary, without showing frustration
· Connecting with the children in class
· Giving positive reinforcement
